HD Retrovision SNES Premium YPbPr Component Cable

Bought these for my Australian PAL GameCube and Nintendo 64 (which has Tim Worthington’s N64RGB mod installed) and the picture on my 51cm/20in CRT is immaculate. I can’t compare to cheaper component cables since I’ve never tried any, but if you’re using the standard composite cables, these are a significant and noticeable improvement IMO. The picture is appreciably clearer and colour vibrancy is also greatly improved. If you’re worried that the difference is only visible in macro photographs on the internet, that is definitely not the case - the improvements to picture quality are absolutely noticeable in normal use. FWIW they also feel very well made and have a good amount of grab onto the RCA jacks without having a death grip, not that I’ll be disconnecting and reconnecting them very often. All in all I’m very happy with these. My consoles have never looked better. Would recommend.

These hd retrovision cables are absolutely top notch. Perfectly clean signal with absolutely no noise. If you're using with retrotink 5x then turn off low pass filter as this has one built in. Absolutely perfect and the colours are magnificent.

Incredibly easy, and results are fantastic! SNES never looked so good on my CRT.

The output from my SNES with this cable was amazing and way better than through a composite connection. The pixels are sharper without noise, the colours are vibrant, and the cable is high quality. I would highly reccomend this cable!

Purchased these for my RGB modded N64 and WOW what a difference they make in the picture quality. Highly recommend!

I tried this cable with OSSC and compared it with another "less premium" cable (that came with SNES) for playing games. I do not see the difference. It could be so that the video capture results could be different but just for playing games, it feels like an overkill for the price. Again, it works well, but if you have a chance to borrow this cable from someone and compare it to the other cables, you might find that it is not really that different. BTW, if you are planning to use it with OSSC, you will need 2 RCA to 3.5mm converter to pass the audio.
