Returns

You can return the products to us within 30 days from the day of purchase, provided the products are in their original sealed condition. Items opened and re-packaged will only be partially refunded according to their value and state, and a re-stocking fee of 10% of their original price will be applied.

Unfortunately, as we are a small business, we cannot offer free returns at this time. Any cost incurred to ship the product(s) back to us will have to be covered by you.

Warranty Returns

Products returned due to a manufacturer's issue, or damaged during shipping, qualify for a free return. As we have no service to issue return labels, you can post your item back to us and we will refund your postage costs to your original order.
Kindly note that only standard 2nd class or standard international shipping will be refunded. We will not refund courier or expedited / priority returns, and this cost will be incurred on you, should you choose to send it with such a service.

 

Shipping

We offer free UK Standard delivery on mod kit orders.
For all other orders, you will have to pay the shipping rate that is automatically calculated at checkout.

The companies we use are Royal Mail and UPS for both UK and International destinations.

The cutoff time for same day shipping is 12:00pm London time on business days (Monday to Friday). If you place your order after, or outside the business days, your order will be dispatched on the next working day. This only applies to mod kits and items that are ready to ship.

EU Shipping Post-Brexit and IOSS:

For orders under €150 we will collect VAT at your country's standard rate and your order will be shipped via the IOSS scheme, which means that no VAT or other duties will be collected from you at the time of delivery.

For orders greater than €150, shipments no longer include VAT or Duties. Our prices are exclusive of VAT when the destination country is not the UK. You will have to pay taxes and / or duties when you import products into the European Union. The rate of tax and / or duties depends on the destination country. If you are not clear about your country's import charges, please check with your local government or customs office.

We will not accept liability for returns due to declined or unpaid import charges that you may incur. We can only offer to refund orders minus delivery and return charges, once the declined parcel has been returned to us.

 

Warranty

We offer 6 months warranty from the time of purchase for all our products and the manufacturer's warranty for products manufactured by companies other than 8BitMods. 

 

Pre orders

For products marked as such, you can place a pre order to secure your place in the expected stock. Payment for pre orders is processed immediately. You have a right to withdraw your pre order at any time for a full refund, no questions asked, until your order status is marked as "Awaiting Shipment" or "Shipped", at which point you can no longer cancel your order (this does not affect your right to return a product after you receive it).

Please note that any dates mentioned in the pre ordered product is only an estimate and subject to change at any time without prior warning. We will do our best to communicate such changes on the product page itself. Pre order dates are not promised dates and your order may take longer to ship than estimated.

In the event of a big amount of pre orders for a popular product, we will start fulfilling orders in the order they were taken.

Combining in-stock items with pre order items in the same order

Please note that if you decide to add items currently in stock to the same order as a pre-order item, then we will hold the stock for you and ship the order as a whole when all pre order items are in stock.

We do not offer the ability to split pre order and in stock items, or ship separately. Doing so incurs extra shipping costs. If you would like to split pre order and in stock items from your order, please contact our customer services (customerservices@8bitmods.co.uk) and we will be able to partially refund your in stock items, so you can place a separate order for them, in order to have them shipped separately.
