The Memcard Pro for the PlayStation 1 is excellent , no more changing memory cards . 8bitMods are fantastic company and I always buy accessories from them .

The thing really looks and acts cool in my PSone. Mine is modded and has the screen with battery attachment to make the whole thing portable and this fits right in. It actually has great utility as well as I usually have to juggle between two or three old memory cards, moving save files I want to keep on to a PC or PS3. Pop a 16 gig SD card and just press the buttons to scroll through a pretty much infinite amount of internal "memory cards" and save as many files as you want.

Works perfect with xstation

I build PS1s with the XStation ode mod and this Memory Card goes perfectly with it. Don't have to worry about finding out save card ever again. Highly recommend.

I got a pair of those to integrate them with my M.O.D.E. ODE. I wanted to utilize the automatic creation and switching of the virtual memory cards as well as copy all of my existing savefiles from "real" memory cards over to the virtual ones of the MemCard Pro. The MemCard Pro itself comes in a plastic zip bag in a cushioned little box. The build quality of the card itself is good, it feels sturdy, the micro SD Card slot is spring loaded and the MemCard Pro itself sits just firm enough for it to not slide out on accident but also not too tight for it to get stuck like cheap knock-off memory cards. Included in the box is also a QR code for the digital manual which explains all the features as well as how to set them up. After setting the MemCard Pro up it works like you would expect it to: It automatically creates 8 virtual memory cards through which you can cycle through with the two buttons found on the unit itself, or through a button combination on your controller. It also reliably detects the games you are loading from an ODE and will automatically create and/or mount the memory cards specific to that game. And if you REALLY need to you can always create and/or switch to another set of 8 memory cards via another controller button combination. The WiFi features are a nice bonus and easy to set up as well. With them you can download and manage your virtual memory cards but also configure the hardware and software to your liking, as well as performing firmware updates and enabling FTP access. The UI for the WebApp is also clean and simple. There is just one nitpick that I have with the MemCard Pro: you have to go through the WiFi setup in order to be able to access the WebApp itself. Suppose I take my MemCard Pro over to a friends PS1 that isn't equipped with an ODE, I'd need to set it up in a foreign network just to be able to mount a specific memory card within the WebApp. Another example I could think of is if the user doesn't want to use the WiFi features and just prefers to disable them without having to set them up first. An "Access WebApp" button on the setup screen would be neat for those scenarios. But other than that this is an excellent product and a must have for any ODE owner. After transfering my savegames over to the proper virtual memory cards I no longer have to manually keep track of which memory card holds which savefiles - it does it all for you and better than any human would. The WebApp and FTP access also makes it very easy to backup, restore and modify your savefiles, the possibilities are nearly endless...

I have multiple memory cards, but with this card I no longer need the others. I can share data between my PC emulator and PS1 so I can carry data with me.

More features than I could have dreamed of as a kid - works great and as soon as the GC one came out I bought that too
