Wireless Bluetooth Receiver for GameCube
It's a wireless bluetooth receiver for the Nintendo GameCube based on the open source BlueRetro project. You just plug the dongle into the console and from there you can connect a wide variety of controllers and accesories to use on the GameCube. The build quality of the dongle is good, it feels rigid and fits snugly into the controller port. The button does require an increased amount of force to press and hold, but not too much. I primarily bought these receivers to connect my Nintendo Switch 2 GameCube controllers to my original GameCube. For that I have downloaded the latest beta firmware and installed it using the WebUI. I have used the new beta interface as recommended by the project author. Everything on the new interface is cleanly organized into distinct categories and pages. Connecting to the dongle using bluetooth is simple and from there it was easy to upload and install the new firmware. On this interface you can also configure various other like button mappings and game specific presets. You can select source and target button mappings from a drop down, so you'll have the proper labels for the controller that you want to use. One important thing to note is that you have to "plug in" a Rumble Pak accessory to make rumble work on the connected controller. There are also file management tools for things like Memory Cards and Controller Paks, however, these things don't apply to the GameCube. After updating the firmware I was able to connect my NS2 GameCube Controller and play my games as usual, but without a cable having to run through my room. I was also able to connect my Nintendo Switch Super Nintendo Controller for use with the GameBoy Player. Since this dongle is plug and play you can also use it on a Nintendo Wii, or even a Wii U, Switch or PC using the official (or a 3rd party) GameCube USB adapter. My only minor gripe is the requirement of a chromium based webbrowser, due to the WebBluetooth requirement, but I can look past that. All in all this receiver does everything I need it to do, and with flying colors. I'd buy these dongles again.

Outstanding!
This works brilliantly! It has paired with every controller I've thrown at it, and I can't detect any lag.

GC BlueRetro Wireless Controller Receiver (Black)
Adapter looks really good and is working fine with my bluetoooth controllers, pairing is pretty easy and you can update firmware and edit mapping within Blueretro Web config (which is not the easiest way but still nice that this is possible). Definitely recommend this adapter.

Amazing modern controlling
I had some initial teething problems getting this dongle to pair with my controller but once it got going it has been consistently fabulous. Really modernises the control of the GameCube, I'm absolutely thrilled. A big step above the wavebird and the only thing that could improve this is if there was a solid GameCube style wireless controller I could pair to it.
