About this Game:

When a massive rat ship comes crashing out of the moon with a massive weapon aimed at planet Earth, the ‘toadacious trio Battletoads answered the call.  But the dreaded Dark Queen has brought on the shady Shadow Boss on board.  This dastardly duo definitely means business so it was only fair for Rash, Zitz, and Pimple to team up with Billy and Jimmy Lee to bring the pain!
 
This 16-bit excursion will take the furious five across seven sinister stages to take on the likes of Abobo, Big Blag, Guido, Roper, Robo-Manus, and even the Colossus rat ship.  You can either save the world on your own or get some couch co-op in 2-player mode.  It’s time to get mean and green!

A) This is the only time you can purchase this release. We do not have plans for a reprint at this time.

A) We have no plans in place for any digital distribution of any Retro-Bit Publishing title.

Q) Is this game region-free?
A) Like our prior releases, this game is region-free so long as it is compatible with the console.

Q) Does this run at 50hz on PAL consoles?
A) The game is multi-regional and can run at 60Hz (NTSC for Japan and North America) or 50Hz (PAL). You can enable PAL mode by quickly resetting the console twice.

Q) What consoles are able to run this?
A) This cartridge is compatible with original SNES® consoles as well as most 3rd party consoles. This includes our Retro-Bit consoles, Super Nt, and other 3rd party consoles.

Q) What changes are in this release versus the original?
A) We kept the game as the original with only updates to the licensing. All gameplay features were left untouched.
